I'm not a developer. I came up through bookkeeping — BC CGA Year 1, small business operations, years of working with entrepreneurs who were great at their trade and perpetually behind on everything else. I know what accountant-ready means. I know what it costs a business when the back office is a mess.
When AI tools started getting genuinely capable, I did what most people did: I used them. Different models for different tasks. I was faster, but I was still the bottleneck. Still prompting manually. Still starting cold. Still doing the 80% that AI should have been doing for me.
The moment everything shifted: I realized the model wasn't the product. The harness was.
The operators making money weren't asking which AI was most powerful. They were asking which system to put around it.
I stopped being a user and started being an operator. Instead of prompting one task at a time, I built loops — systems that prompt agents instead of me prompting them. Instead of picking the most capable model for everything, I routed tasks to the right model at the right cost. Instead of trusting output as-is, I added verification layers. Instead of starting each session cold, I built memory into the stack.
EverSwarm is what I built while doing this — and what I run every day. A non-developer who built a developer's stack, dogfooding every product on the system it was built to teach. The Ron story happened because the loop ran and the proof was real. That's the only kind of proof we use here.
